File Notes

This is the latest beta of Strategy Gulch. I know I said I was going to release one more beta as the "Final" beta. However, it has been quite some time since Beta5 was released and I feel it's not fair of me to hold out any longer, especially since so much internal betatesting has gone by with much changed since Beta5. Therefore, I bring to you guys Beta6 of Strategy Gulch.

Some of the things that have been implemented include the H2 HUD; Dual TM14s; Dual HUD displays on the vehicles with dual weapons (such as the Scorpion); more sound tweaks; a replacement "side base" because you could get stuck in the old "pavilion" base if you fell down the chimney; and much, much more!

I would like to thank the =M4L= Mappers team for their help in this beta and for betatesting. I'd also like to thank Kaleb for betatesting, as well as Malolo for his help on preliminary BSP replacement, even though it didn't fully go through as you all will see by me using the old BSP. There were too many holes in the polys. I'd also like to thank Reaper and his crew of friends for betatesting help. If I forgot anyone please let me know and I will ask that this list be updated.

Known issues:

-Seating on some vehicles may not be proper.
-Some weapon icons don't work properly.
-If you are riding a Bulldog and trying to score, beware because you can fall through the level near Red Base. Get off slowly or use another vehicle. This has to do with seating, I think.
-If you are going towards the "cave base" and get off a Warthog (or maybe a bulldog) you can also fall through the level and die.
-...And any other bugs I haven't mentioned that should be reported.

I am always requesting that this map be played often, as I'd like to test for bugs. I have yet to se this map on deicated servers. However, I think with all these changes and dedication towards its development that it may be taken more seriously. Now I feel comfortable with taking my time on releasing the next and hopefully final beta, because now I can work on the BSP with some people's help.
