The Maps I downloaded don't show up in Halo
The Maps and files on this website are for the Halo CE (Custom Edition) version only and NOT for Halo PC (store bought version). Halo CE is a free upgrade/download for owners of the Halo PC game that allows you to play and/or create custom content and maps. All files and information on this website is for The Halo CE game.

The Halo CE game is a free standalone program that will install alongside of your Halo PC game. You can have both installed and run either one. The Halo CE game allows you to play and or create custom maps for multiplayer on-line play. You can download the Halo CE game and the editing kit from the Official Halo CE file section of the website. You must have a valid Halo PC CD key ready when you install Halo CE.

Once you install Halo CE you can then Download the maps and use WinZip or WinRar to extract the *.map files

Place the maps in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps

NOT the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\maps" folder.
